After my disastrous attempt to juice fast on October 25th, I kept on reading all the amazing success stories on www.rebootwithjoe.com. Trust me they kept me motivated and finally on November 14th I decided to start my juice diet. This time something changed, something kept me motivated. I was very serious. Thanks to my amazing husband, who encouraged me to keep on the juicing. Day 1 was not too bad for me.
Week 1 :
I must say week one was tough, interms of getting rid of all the food thoughts. I am a big foodie and keep dreaming about food. Must say my food thoughts continued unto week 4 ;)
Week 2:
I already was seeing the changes in me. I lost pretty good weight but was determined to keep on and loose more weight. The food thoughts still kept on lingering in my mind. This being Thanksgiving week, having a supportive person during juice fast was the most important and amazing thing to continue on juicing.
Week 3:
Almost lost 13 pounds and I was proud of myself. Food thoughts still lingering in my mind...
Week 4:
The weight loss sort of goes downhill. By week four I lost total of 18 pounds and today is Day 33 and I am still juicing with little food here and there!!
I know, I haven't posted my experiences day after day. But I did not want to jinx my juice fast by blogging it daily and fearing about giving it away. But today I can definitely say juice fasting was the best thing I have ever done to my body. Its an amazing transformation. Its difficult, but that's what makes it great!! Reading all the blogs about people who have done juice fast and reading success stories kept me motivated.
I am sure with the holidays and New year around, I will have lot of food around me. But I know I have control over my body now and know exactly how it will react. I will keep on juicing and will start another reboot in the new year!!
Good luck to all the people out there who want to transform themselves using juice diet !!

Confession
Hello there,
So, even though I started a blog to track my juice fast, it did not work for me and I gave up by the evening of 25th October. I regretted it for a while but then I shamelessly was happy eating all the carbs by evening. I thought I will never change my habit and never do the reboot and more importantly never loose weight :(. But there's more to it........

Day 1-Morning
I started my day by drinking good amount of water. For some reason this morning when I woke up I was very excited about starting my detox journey. I did not feel the same when I did this a week ago. Right now I feel more excited about sharing my journey and feeling good that I am putting it out for the world ;)
For the morning I am drinking orange juice= carrots+apples+ginger . I tweaked the juices for today a little bit, as I only had carrots, apples and celery. I will go shopping today for the weekend. Will update more as the day goes.....

Hello!!
I am not sure where to start , but this blog is more of a dairy to share my journey with you all regrading my detox journey for the next few weeks. I have some weight to loose, and yes it does have a timeline. I have tried few methods out there but I have too little will power to continue. I recently happened to bounce upon Fat sick and Nearly dead by Joe Cross, what an incredible video and it inspired me tons!!
I already tried reboot with joe for a day last week and then gave up. I did it again this week and gave up again for hunger pranks by end of the day. So today I thought why not start a blog about my journey, so that I have some accountability :) :) and now I can look forward to something more than loosing weight by posting my experiences here. As they say the more support the merrier it gets.
I have always been healthy, but have gained about 30 lbs in the past 3 years which is more likely due to lack of excercise, so my aim would be to loose up to 30 lbs with jucing in the next 55 days. I want to get healthier and ofcourse shedding these extra pounds off will make me more confident.
Tommorow will be my first day , so I really look forward to it, will go get the veggies and fruits ready in a little while....wish me luck...and hopefully I won't give up this time.
